View Campground - Town of Clover Campground - Reviews

This is a great campground if you are looking to camp on Lake Superior. You can't get much closer to the lake than the tent sights offer. The RV area fills up on the weekends with RVs, but there are usually plenty of tent sights available. The sites are right along a road, but it is not a heavily traveled road. Most traffic through Herbster, stays on WI-13 -- the Lake usually covers up the noise of the highway unless it is a super calm day. The campground goes further back behind the main RV area in one big look. There are some more private spots back in the loop & they will be a little warmer since the winds can be chilly off Lake Superior. This is a great campground for a 1 to 3 night stay. There is hiking nearby -- try the Meyer's beach parking area just a few miles north of Cornucopia, or Lost Creek Falls. Great location to take it easy for a few days.
