Campsite is on a fairly long spur trail off of main Big Woods Loop trail. We were told to park behind office to access site B1 & there was water available behind the office. The hike was about a mile on rolling hills through a mostly meadow like area. (watch our for horse droppings!) Site B1 is not a flat spot. There were about 2 spots to potentially put a small tent and both of those were at a slight incline. From the site we could see the cabin across Putnam Lake & we occasionally heard a few campers from B2 or B3. Overall, the site was quiet & private. There is a latrine type outhouse between site B1 and B2 that is shared by both sites. See pictures for a picture of the site.
