View Lake - Hollingworth Lake - Reviews

We recently visited Hollingworth lake with our boxer dog, and found it to be a nice relaxing few hours in an unspoiled countryside close to blackstone hedge and the pennines. We walked around the lake anticlockwise and appreciated all the veiws, fortunately it was a nice day, there was many others walking their dogs around the lake and it also seems popular for joggers and fishermen. There is plenty of wildlife to see, and with all nice walks buids up an appetite, so we called at the chippy (NOT SURE WHAT ITS CALLED) for fish and chips which were the best i have tasted in a long time. On a nice day like the one we had parking was a liitle tricky but apart from that it was an excellent day and well recommended.
