Dash Point State Park, Federal Way
-We cooked our dinner at this park on the Monday evening we got to Federal Way
-Park is located on Puget Sound
-Our picnic spot was located on the beach, with view of setting sun
-We had to hurry along our dinner, because the park closed by 8:30 pm, about the time of sunset
-This was a nice location for our dinner/picnic

Dash Point Park rating (on scale of 1 to 5, with 5 the best)

-Upkeep = 4 (things seemed to be pretty well maintained)
-Beauty = 3 (nice, but not spectacular views)
-Peaceful = 3 (for a Monday evening in August, there were quite a lot of people, however the weather was unusually nice—clear and temperature near 80)
