Great Park
Munden Point is a large enough park with enough to do that makes it worth the trip out. There are several child pay areas, clean bathrooms, shaded and open picnic areas with grills available if you bring a bag of charcoal.
The center-point of the park is a quaint little windmill with a fountain circling the base. Of couse, it is actually a park storage area...but they took the time to make something that looks nice.
There are a couple of regulation ball-fields for those who wish to play softball or baseball.
At the main park area, they even have a bait vending machine (pretty cool touch for us guys) if you brought your little buckaroo or bucker-ette out to do some off the bank fishing. The boat launch is flawless and the park manager definitely is on the game as the place is immaculate.
This is my favortite 'out of the way' park in Virginia Beach.
