Geese kept flying in. If I had zoomed the camera out, you could see many times as many. By that time they were making quite a ruckus which was loud on the other side of the lake. One wonders how much a weight an ice shelf can hold, and how much a thousand geese weigh. Something must have spooked them because they all took off at once.
