Bighorn Mountains/Shell Falls
-A particularly interesting stop was the Shell Falls area immediately off US 14 on the west side of the Bighorns in Bighorn National Forest. This site had excellent views of the falls, fine short trails, and we got an excellent brochure

-Bighorn Mountains/Shell Falls ratings (on scale from 1 to 5, with 5 the best)

-Upkeep = 4 (road, trails, and facilities were fine)
-Beauty = 4 (Bighorn Mountain area and Shell Falls was pleasing to the eye)
-Peaceful = 4 (relatively few tourists at this time, not a lot of traffic on the road)
-Informative = 4 (brochure for Shell Falls was good; road markers provided some other information)
