 | Thousands of Geese IV |  | Thousands of geese had landed on the ice on the lake. Something spooked them, and this photo is of them all taking off at the same time. It could have been a panoramic picture. They headed our way and got even louder. A minute later, they flew over our heads. |
 | Thousands of Geese I | | As we were standing at the lake, flock after flock of geese came in and landed on the ice. It would have been impossible to say how many exactly were there. Then, even more arrived. |
